Every Scouting unit deserves volunteers who have the information, training, and resources they need to create great experiences for young people. Making that happen takes more than separate committees and individual plans. It takes people working together.
The Council Program Coordinated Meeting brings volunteers from across Orange County together for a full day of communication, training, and collaborative planning. It is an opportunity to share ideas, coordinate upcoming work, and strengthen the support available to local packs, troops, crews, and ships.
Who should attend?
This gathering is designed for council and district volunteers whose work supports local units, including leaders involved with:
- Programs and activities
- Advancement
- Camps and camping
- Leadership training
- Order of the Arrow
- Commissioner service
- District operations
- Council properties
Whether you help plan activities, train leaders, maintain resources, or support units directly, your experience and perspective belong in the conversation.
Why planning together matters
A strong plan creates a better experience for everyone. Volunteers receive clearer information. Programs work together more effectively. Units can plan with greater confidence. Most importantly, young people gain access to more consistent and meaningful Scouting experiences.
The day will include time for fellowship, council-wide updates, group discussions, and focused breakout sessions. Lunch and meeting materials are included with registration.
