Anaheim, CA — Scouting America Orange County Council hosted a highly successful Annual Bridging Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park, where the park opened early exclusively for Scouts, families, and leaders for a one-of-a-kind experience.
The event brought together the Scouting community to recognize youth as they advanced in their Scouting journey, with a special focus on Arrow of Light Scouts bridging into the next phase of the program. The morning celebration combined tradition, recognition, and energy in a setting that made the moment even more memorable for participants.
A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of the council’s America 250 logo, presented by Board Member Jazmmin Brookins and Deputy Scout Executive/COO Denovan Lino. The unveiling officially launched the council’s America 250 celebration year, marking the beginning of a historic period focused on citizenship, service, and leadership.
The Annual Bridging Celebration showcased the strength of Scouting in Orange County and reinforced its mission to prepare young people for lives of impact. As the council looks ahead, the America 250 initiative will continue to engage Scouts in meaningful ways as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
