The Annual Recognition Dinner is one of the council’s signature evenings of appreciation, honoring the Scouts, volunteers, and community leaders whose dedication strengthens Scouting across our region. The event recognizes outstanding service, leadership, and long-term impact on youth and the movement.
During the program, honorees include recipients of the Silver Beaver Award, the highest council-level recognition for distinguished volunteer service in Scouting America. The evening also celebrates youth who have achieved Scouting’s top ranks: Eagle Scout, Quartermaster in Sea Scouting, and the Summit Rank in Venturing. Each represents years of commitment, leadership, and meaningful service to others.
The dinner serves as both a celebration and a reflection point for the year, highlighting the people who give their time and talent to help Scouting thrive. Registration and sponsorship options are available, along with nomination opportunities for outstanding Eagle Scout service projects through the national Project of the Year award process.
