The Diocese of Orange Catholic Committee on Scouting will host the 2026 Way to the Cross Hike on Saturday, March 21, at the Santiago Event Center. This annual event invites Scouts and families to take part in a reflective hike that recreates the Passion of Christ by visiting each Station of the Cross along a short trail.

Scouts of all faiths are welcome to participate. At each station, participants will pause for prayers and discussion, offering a meaningful opportunity for reflection and fellowship in an outdoor setting.

Participants should arrive at the Santiago Event Center parking area before 9:00 AM, as waiver forms must be completed prior to the start. The hike begins at 9:00 AM and concludes around 10:30 AM.

What to bring and wear:

  • Class B uniform
  • Sturdy hiking shoes
  • Water bottle

Scouts are encouraged to attend with their family or as a unit, as this is not a drop-off event. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

For questions or to RSVP, please contact Bernie Kilcoyne at berniepk@earthlink.net.
