Excitement and learning await at Squids Camp! This program features an intro to kayaking/stand up paddle boarding, dock fishing, marine exploration with underwater cameras, wacky science, arts and craft projects, building and racing a mini-sailboat, mini car build and track race competition with Lego bricks, and much more! Don’t miss out on the STEM Lab Series that rotates every 3 weeks between the Squid Dissection & Art Lab, Bubble Mania Lab, and the popular Slime Lab. Loads of fun at the waterfront and beaches with no swimming expertise required. AM Squids Track also features our NEW Sea Base Aquarium Lab with fresh, saltwater, and touch tanks for youth to get hands-on! For Cub Scouts, specific adventure or elective achievements will be available and listed before the start of camp on the Squids weekly calendar.
NOTE: There are different activities AM and PM – please check the full day schedule for highlights; different activity variations per week as well. All Campers must be able to listen to group instructions and participate successfully in group activities; must have completed Kindergarten. Open to Scouts and non-Scouts. There will be a supervised lunch period in their homeroom at 12pm daily for campers sign up for AM and the PM session; please bring a non-perishable sack lunch and refillable water bottle.
