Orange County, CA — Scouting America Orange County Council is proud to announce that Jazmmin Brookins, Director at DLC Consulting and member of the Council Board of Directors, will serve as Chair of the 2026 America 250 Bridging Celebration.

The Bridging Celebration will take place on March 14, 2026, at Disney California Adventure Park and marks a once-in-a-generation moment as the nation begins commemorating America’s 250th birthday. The event will also celebrate 115 years of Scouting’s commitment to service, leadership, and community impact. The ceremony will honor Arrow of Light Scouts as they transition into the next phase of their Scouting journey, symbolizing growth, achievement, and continued leadership.

Brookins brings more than 13 years of experience advising Fortune 1000 and high-growth organizations, offering deep financial expertise and a collaborative leadership approach. As Director at DLC Consulting, she has built a reputation for driving strategic impact and strengthening organizations from within.

A lifelong advocate for youth and community service, Brookins has dedicated her time to mission-driven organizations including Boys & Girls Club of America and Ronald McDonald House Orange County. Her service on the Board of Scouting America Orange County Council reflects her continued commitment to empowering young people through character development and leadership opportunities.

A native of Orange County, Brookins earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a minor in French from California State University, Fullerton. After living in New York City, Paris, and Los Angeles, she has returned home with a global perspective and a passion for investing her experience back into the community she serves.

Under her leadership, the 2026 Bridging Celebration is expected to be a defining moment for the council’s America 250 observance year, uniting families, Scouts, and community leaders in a historic celebration of citizenship and service.
