Jazmmin Brookins proudly serves on the Board of Scouting America Orange County Council, and is the Chair of the 2026 Bridging Celebration taking place on March 14, 2026, at Disney California Adventure Park. This once-in-a-generation event will commemorate America’s 250th birthday while celebrating 115 years of Scouting’s commitment to service, leadership, and community.
A lifelong community advocate, Jazmmin has dedicated her time and leadership to mission-driven organizations including the Boys & Girls Club and Ronald McDonald House Orange County. With more than 13 years of experience advising Fortune 1000 and high-growth organizations, she brings seasoned financial expertise and a collaborative leadership style that drives meaningful impact across our organization.
A native of Orange County, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a minor in French from California State University, Fullerton. After living in New York City, Paris, and Los Angeles, she is proud to reinvest her experience and perspective into the community she calls home.

FAQ
A Bridging Celebration is a special ceremony that marks growth and advancement in Scouting. While many units traditionally hold this ceremony only for Arrow of Light Scouts crossing into Scouts BSA, our celebration includes all Scouts present for the event. Every Scout participates, recognizing that advancement, leadership, and personal growth happen at every level. It is a unified moment for families and leaders to celebrate progress, honor achievement, and look ahead to the next stage of the Scouting journey.
Tickets will be available the morning of the event outside of the California Adventure entryway. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
This is not a drop-off event. According to Scouting America’s guidelines, each youth must have adult supervision provided by a parent or Scout leader. You can learn more here.

Wear your Scouting field uniform to show off Scouting and celebrate our birthday! Bring a backpack, water bottle, comfortable shoes and plan for a day out. Check out Disney’s guidelines for bringing items into the park here.
